Event description
An event for returned volunteers interested in connecting with each other, sharing stories & continuing their global justice journey at home

About this event

Comhlámh is a place for people to come together, share stories and make friends. Who says we can’t do that online?

The evening will be informal and participatory and is open to returned volunteers (recent or from many years ago), development workers and anyone interested in learning about volunteering and getting active on social justice issues. Following some stories from your time abroad, we will have the opportunity to hear from and engage with people and groups active on global and social justice issues. Each of the groups will provide a spotlight on a particular aspect of their work in break-out rooms. You will get to choose which of the rooms you would like attend. In each room a host is presenting for 10 minutes followed by 10 minutes of Q&A. If you are not familiar with Zoom – no need to worry – we will smoothly guide you through the evening and can assist you with any difficulties.

Looking forward to ‘seeing’ you!

For any questions, please contact Julia at julia@comhlamh.org

This event is supported by Irish Aid as part of our strategic partnership whereby supportive and inclusive learning spaces are provided for communities to become critically engaged and come together to connect, activate, and amplify social justice issues.
