There are two sessions. It is possible to attend one or both sessions. Both are via Zoom.

The first session 10:00-13:00 is a practical workshop with Helen Fallon, Deputy Librarian Maynooth University, on writing for publication for library journals. Participants will carry out a number of writing tasks and draw up an outline for an article (including title, keywords and abstract) and begin writing the article. The session will conclude with advice on submitting to journals, dealing with peer review and publicising your published article.

The second session 14:00-15:00, with Laura Connaughton, Head of Academic Servies, Maynooth University Library, covers poster presentations. Participants will learn practical, adaptable tips on how to design posters.
