The process of composing reports can be quite time-consuming. In this fast-paced world, it is imperative to meet deadlines in the shortest possible time. This one-day course outlines how to significantly reduce time in writing reports using innovative administration technologies. The course is fully accredited with Engineers Ireland which one of the longest established professional bodies in the UK and Ireland.

Learning Objectives

On completing this program, participants will be able to:

➤ Plan reports in a more effective manner using professional mind mapping tools.

➤ Auto-generate structured reports and presentations using mind mapping tools.

➤ Incorporate company word templates when rendering reports.

➤ Swiftly edit and restructure reports using mind mapping tools.

➤ Be familiar with the functionality of professional speech recognition technologies and their integration into process of writing reports.

➤ Be familiar with the functionality of proofreading and grammar checking tools and their integration into the report writing process.

➤ Understand the iterative agile process of efficiently writing reports using the administrative technologies.

Learning Outcome

This training event will incorporate presentations and hands-on practice. Each participant will be assigned a virtual desktop computer and will undertake the practical aspect of the course in using of mind mapping tools to compose a sample document report of their own.

Participant Requirements

This is an online training event where participants are required to have a computer, an internet connection (that can accommodate remote distance learning) and preferably a microphone. Most modern laptops have an inbuilt microphone pre-installed. A notebook and pen is also an imperative requirement.

About the Trainer

The course trainer has over 10 years experience in teaching Assistive Technology to audiences from primary to third level education. He holds a single honours degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from University College Cork. He is also an Oracle Certified Associate in Java and has a passion for teaching technology to all levels.
