DESCRIPTION:
You are amazing! The fact is, we are all absolutely bursting with potential just waiting to be expressed. But most of us never get to realise our potential, because something, or many small things, get in the way. A few thousand years ago, some very clever people found a way around this – it’s called yoga. Yoga can help you to be your most calm, capable and confident self no matter what life throws your way.
Being a young woman is a unique experience and a brilliant opportunity for discovery and self expression. But it's easy to miss out while you're figuring it all out. In this workshop we'll look at some of the ways you can use yoga to help on and off the mat.

Learn skills to help:
- Beat stress and anxiety,
- Study better,
- Build your confidence,
- Feel good in your body,
- Let your light shine!

Ground:
Get centred and settled to banish unwanted thoughts. Save that space in your head and let your concentration and focus flourish.
Flow:
Find flow, comfort and ease in your body and gain confidence and trust in yourself as well.
Restore:
Relaxation is a skill and practice makes perfect! Once relaxation comes as second nature, you'll feel refreshed and ready whatever's ahead of you.
"I've never done yoga/meditation before, can I still come?"/"I'm not flexibility, will I be able to do it?"
YES, yes and yes again. I'll meet you at whatever level you're ready for and there's absolutely no embarrassment and definitely no need for Olympic gymnast flexibility.

"Do I need to buy/bring anything?"
Nope! Just come in comfortable, warm, stretchy clothes. If you have a mat it's always nice to have your own but they'll be provided if you don't.
"Parental consent?"
Once you've registered I'll need a parent or guardian to sign a permission letter and provide contact details in case of emergency. I'll email it over to you and you can bring it on the day or email it back.

"What are your qualifications?"
I'm glad you asked! I'm a RYT500 hour yoga teacher trained by Yoga Therapy Ireland, while on the course I did training with Teen Yoga expert Charlotta Martinus, a module in child protection and passed two exams in anatomy and physiology for safe yoga practice.
