With 30 years of performing and teaching experience between them these guys know how to generate a brilliant and inclusive atmosphere of tried and tested fun exercises for people to participate leaving everyone in the Christmas spirit at the end.

A gentle introduction to humour, comedy and Christmas songs through fun interactive games and inclusive exercises.

Warm up games and group exercises to stimulate their communication and presentation and say a little about themselves. To bond the group and give them the experience of having fun together.

The Workshop will include:

• To bring in the Christmas cheer and joy
• Give everyone a good Christmassy feeling

Finish with a song! – we get everyone to write and sing along to a well known Christmas tune with their own personal contribution to the lyrics!

Who are Zing!

Zing are Ciaran and Karl two creative facilitators who escaped from UCD’s maximum security Innovation Academy where they are preparing to launch their creative workshops in comedy and music next year.

With 30 years of performing and teaching experience between them these guys know how to generate a brilliant and inclusive atmosphere of tried and tested fun exercises for people to participate leaving everyone in the Christmas spirit at the end.

They have teamed up together to bring their own special brand of Christmas Craic – *a combination of music, laughter and joy!

Your Hosts:

Both Karl and Ciaran have just completed from the UCD Innovation Academy in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship where they have studied intensely all the aspects of presentation and delivery to groups online. It was a very natural progression to team up and launch their workshops together.

Ciaran McMahon –from the southside of Dublin, is a QQI registered trainer with 20 years running comedy gigs, performing and hosting both Improvisation and Stand Up Comedy Shows from the smallest pub to the Olympia Theatre. Founder and coordinator of youtalkfunny.com, teaching private and corporate workshops for over 15 years in Prague, Oslo, Germany and Ireland. This coming year he will be bringing a new corporate workshop departure, Alchemy Workshops.

Karl Cosgrove is an artist from the better side of Dublin (North). Taking to the stage mainly as a solo performer, he has also worked alongside other musicians in band and duo settings. From holding residencies in Dublin, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Ibiza and France, his electric charisma and connection with his audience is something that resonates and translates wherever he performs.

Now adapting his music knowledge to create a fun and interactive workshop to share the playful and collaborative aspects of songwriting and music.
