Change your event status

The status of your event can be changed to tickets at the door, sold out, cancelled, or postponed. Changing your event status will pause ticket sales until you update your ticket settings. Otherwise, each event’s status automatically reflects the current status of your ticket sales.

Event statuses

  • Tickets At The Door — This message will display on your event listing and tickets won’t be available online. Attendees will plan to register at your event.

  • Sold Out — This message will display on your event listing and tickets won’t be available online. Changing to this status will not change your total capacity.

  • Cancelled — This message will display on your event listing and tickets won’t be available online. This won’t issue refunds or alert attendees automatically, so make sure you let your attendees know and refund all orders.

  • Postponed — This message will display on your event listing and tickets won’t be available online. This status will not change the date or notify attendees, so let your attendees know and update the date of the event. Make sure you understand Eventbrite’s Postponed Event Policy before updating your event.
