Organizing an event

Create group ticket types (like “buy one, get one free”)

Create group tickets (like “buy one, get one”) to encourage attendees to buy multiple tickets in the same order. To get started, go to Tickets. Then select Add more tickets and choose Add a 2 for 1 deal.

  • 1. Go to your event dashboard.
  • 2. Go to "Tickets."
  • 3. Create a new paid ticket type.
  • 4. Create your 2 for 1 deal.
  • 5. Save your settings.

NOTE: To create a 2 for 1 deal, your event must have a capacity of at least 100 tickets.

1. Go to your event dashboard.

Log in to your Eventbrite account and go to Events. Then select your event.

2. Go to "Tickets."

3. Create a new paid ticket type.

Select Add more tickets and choose Paid to create a new ticket type.

4. Create your 2 for 1 deal.

Once you have at least one paid ticket type created:

  1. Select Add more tickets.

  2. Choose Add a 2 for 1 deal. 

  3. Select the ticket type you want the deal to apply to.

  4. Enter the number of tickets the deal is available for. This will increase your event capacity, so be sure to adjust the total capacity accordingly before publishing your event.

The price listed on your 2 for 1 ticket type is the price per ticket. For example, if your ticket price is $20.00, your 2 for 1 deal will display $10.00 per ticket, and the attendee will pay a total of $20.00 (plus any applicable fees) for their two tickets.

5. Save your settings.
