Create a discount on tickets
Creating a discount reduces the price on your ticket types without requiring a promo code. Create a discount when you want to advertise a lowered ticket price for a limited time. To get started, go to your event dashboard and select Add tickets. Then, go to Promotions to create a discount.

When to offer discounts
Discounts reduce ticket prices for all buyers. This means that savings will automatically apply at checkout.
If you want to limit who receives a reduced ticket price, create a promo code instead. You can share the code with specific groups, such as friends or mailing list subscribers.
Create a discount
1. Go to your event dashboard.
Log into your account and go to Events . Then select your event.
2. Go to "Add tickets."
3. Select "Promotions."
4. Create a new discount.
If this is your first promotion for this event, select Create a discount.
If you've already created promotional codes for this event, select Add promotion, then Create a discount.
5. Add your discount details.
Fill in the following details:
Discount: How much you'd like to discount tickets. You can choose to discount based on a percentage of the ticket cost or a flat amount.
Promotion limit: Choose how many times this discount can be used across orders. After this limit is reached, it is no longer available for any further customers.
Promotion starts/ends: Update these if you'd like to schedule the discount for a certain time period.
Apply discount to: Choose between All tickets and Only certain tickets. If you choose Only certain tickets, click Select to choose your ticket types.
6. Select “Create.”
Your discount will appear during checkout on Eventbrite's website and mobile app.
NOTE: Discounts are not compatible with embedded checkout.
Edit a discount.
You can only have one discount per event. If you want to provide more promotional offers, create a promotional code for your event.
Change your discount settings.
To edit your discount, return to Promotions. Select the three-dot icon next to your discount and choose one:
Edit the discount.
Delete the discount (only available for unused discounts).
Any discount settings you choose are applied immediately. When you edit a discount, you are also able to update the automatically generated name.
End your discount.
If you'd like to stop your discount, follow the steps above to edit your discount. Then either:
Add a Promotion limit equal to the amount of times your discount has been used. This prevents it from being used again.
Update the Promotion end to a date and time in the near future. The discount will end at the date and time your set.
Restart your discount.
Even if you've ended your discount, you can't create a new one. If you'd like to offer a new discount:
Edit your existing discount settings.
Increase the Promotion limit and/or change the Promotion end to re-enable your discount.
Save your changes.

This tool gives you the ability to show a marked-down price. You are solely responsible for ensuring the promotional discount complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidance.
For organizers in the United States, make sure to follow the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Against Deceptive Pricing and all applicable state laws (such as California Business & Professions Code section 17501 ).
For organizers in the European Union, make sure you follow the EU’s Price Indication Directive and its member state implementations.
