Organizing an event
Customize your event link
Create a custom link for your event to make it more personalized and easier to remember. To get started, go to your Event Dashboard. Then select the "edit" icon next to your event link.
In this article
1. Go to your Event Dashboard.
2. Find your existing event link.
3. Customize your event link.
4. Save your changes.
5. Optional: Promote your event using your custom event link.
6. Optional: Reuse your custom event link.
1. Go to your Event Dashboard.
Log in to your Eventbrite account and select Manage my events from your account menu. Then select your event.
2. Find your existing event link.
Your event link is at the top of the page, under Event link. If your event is recurring, you can customize the link for your general event by selecting Overview.
3. Customize your event link.
Select the “edit” icon and enter what you want your event link to be. Your link will be shown in the following format:
YourLink.eventbrite.com
Eventbrite will add “.eventbrite.com” for you, so you just need to enter the first part (YourLink). Make sure you don’t use any spaces or non-alphanumeric characters (@, #, %, $, &, *).
You can always edit your event link if you make a mistake or change your mind. Be sure to make any changes before you share the link anywhere. Your original event link will still work, but your custom event link can’t be redirected to a different web address.
4. Save your changes.
Select Save to create your custom event link. If the link you entered is already in use, you’ll receive an error and will need to enter a different link.
Note: Any changes you make to the title of your event will not impact your custom event link.
5. Optional: Promote your event using your custom event link.
Select the Share icon to promote your event on flyers, invitations, or social media. Choose from the following:
Send an email campaign
Facebook
X (Twitter)
Keep in mind, 'www.' shouldn't be included when promoting or sharing your custom event link.
DO: https://YourLink.eventbrite.com
DON’T: https://www.YourLink.eventbrite.com
6. Optional: Reuse your custom event link.
If you want to use the same custom event link more than once, you'll need to remove it from your completed event.
Go to Manage my events and select Past in the Event status dropdown.
Select your event.
Select the "edit" icon next to your event link and delete the link.
Select Save.
This will remove the custom event link from that event and make it available for you to use on your new event.
