Raffles, Sweepstakes, and Giveaways Policy
Many jurisdictions contain legal restrictions on raffles, sweepstakes, or other giveaways, including restrictions on giveaways that are run online. If you use Eventbrite to create a listing for an event that involves such a giveaway, you are responsible for complying with those restrictions.
You may not create or promote events that constitute or promote raffles, sweepstakes or giveaways that are prohibited by law.
Certain jurisdictions (such as California) prohibit the sale of raffle tickets online. If your event is located in a jurisdiction where such a prohibition exists, you may not sell raffle tickets on Eventbrite.
Raffles, sweepstakes, or giveaways that are not part of a live event listed on Eventbrite are also prohibited.
Violations of this policy may result in listing removal, account suspension, or other restrictions.
