OurBike

OurBike is the UK’s largest community e-cargo bike share scheme, providing affordable, local access to electric cargo bikes for everyday journeys that would otherwise be made by car or van.

We work in partnership with local authorities, community organisations and small businesses to place shared cargo bikes directly into neighbourhoods. Bikes are booked via the OurBike app and collected from local hosts, making it easy for residents, charities and businesses to carry goods, transport people, and get jobs done without needing to own a vehicle.

OurBike is designed for real-world use — shopping trips, school runs, recycling, deliveries, community work and more. The scheme lowers the cost barrier to using cargo bikes, supports local hosts, and helps reduce car dependency while strengthening local economies.

We host a mix of online and in-person events, including:

• Introductory sessions on using cargo bikes

• Webinars for businesses and organisations

• Community try-outs and training events

• Information sessions delivered in partnership with councils
