Cork City LGBT Interagency Group
LGBTI Awareness Week is where Cork City its agencies and communities come together to support inclusion and challenge homophobia/biphobia and transphobia. LGBT Awareness Week is organised annually by an Interagency Steering Group which includes Cork City Council, Health Service Executive, Department of Social Protection, TÚSLA – Child and Family Agency, An Garda Síochaná, CESCA – Cork Equal and Sustainable Communities Alliance , Cork City Partnership, Cork Education and Training Board, Cork City Libraries, LINC – Advocating for Lesbian and Bisexual Women in Ireland, Cork Gay Project , Ballyphehane Togher CDP and Sexual Health Centre. The Interagency group won Ally of the year at the GALAS National LGBT Awards 2017.
