Rebecca Chabot is the founder of Pure Wellness Tasmania, previously known as Pure Yoga Tasmania. She holds a PhD in Ecology and a Masters in Biology, is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500hrs, and a proud mother of three active young children.Â
Born in Mississippi, Rebecca began studying mindfulness, yoga, meditation and breathing in Seattle over 25 years ago. Since then, she has been teaching, studying and practicing regularly around the world, in Australia, North America, India and Indonesia.
Rebecca’s approach is holistic and evidence-based. As a scientist, she brings an academic inquiry to the practice and is always growing with the latest research, particularly in neuroscience and positive psychology.
