I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY33737) who provides individual psychotherapy and couples therapy. I am currently accepting new individual clients, couples, and families who reside in California (virtual and in-person services available).
I provide clinical consultation for therapists seeking to strengthen their skills in providing treatment for complex trauma, identity-based trauma and discrimination, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I am passionate about training and teaching, and offer workshops and courses in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I offer training directly through my practice and through my courses at the Cognitive Behavior Institute Center for Education.
In addition to my private practice and teaching, I work as a Clinical Psychologist within the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs. I provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy for Veterans struggling with PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, anxiety, OCD, and depression. I engage postdoctoral fellows, psychology interns, Stanford medical students, Stanford psychiatry residents, and practicum students in clinical training, consultation and supervision. I also serve as one of the Member-At-Large Directors for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Sciences.
I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and my bachelor's degree from Harvard University. I completed my doctoral internship at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs. I have received extensive training in the treatment of PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, and couples therapy through settings such as the San Francisco VA, Stanford Department of Psychiatry, Palo Alto VA, Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Menlo College, and UCSF.
