Cooks Academy is Dublin's leading cookery school.

Dublin’s most central Culinary School situated just off Ireland’s famous shopping street, Grafton Street.  The 4,000 sq ft premises offers full immersion Culinary Programmes for aspiring Cooks and Chefs, in addition to cooking lessons for amateur enthusiasts, corporate team building groups and tour operator visitors.  The impressive team of Chef Instructors with both international and industry experience are passionate in their commitment to nurturing the future food talent of Ireland.  Now celebrating 15 years in business, the enviable corporate client list is a Who’s Who of Global financial and tech giants who avail of the school's unique facilities, reputation and location to entertain staff and clients. This Dublin cookery school has a demonstration kitchen theatre seating up to 80 people in addition to the state-of-the-art kitchens equipped with hands-on cooking benches for up to 72. The world class facility also includes an al fresco rooftop barbecue terrace.  A new loft style food studio houses the perfect private space for digital food content creators.

Founded in 2005 by Tim and Vanessa Greenwood, the school continues to be managed by this dynamic couple.  Vanessa also writes a weekly food column in The Irish Times.  Their mission is to enable students of all levels to fulfil their culinary ambitions. Teaching both classical cooking techniques and contemporary cooking styles, each chef instructor has an in-depth knowledge of ethnic cuisines. Their creativity and attention to detail when styling each plate of food is impressive.  A schedule of masterclasses delivered by guest Artisan food producers provide unforgettable meet the maker experiences that enrich our students learning.  Masterclasses include Farmhouse Cheese Making, Chocolate Making, Bread Making, Artisan Sourdough Bread, Butchery, Vegan Cuisine, Wine and Food Matching. The school’s core principals are excellence, reputation, relevancy and continuous improvement together with a focus on positive customer experience. 

In addition to their certificate culinary programmes, a full list of evening, one week, BBQ and artisan irish cooking masterclasses is available on their website. Classes are designed to cater for all levels of cooks. International visitors enjoy learning how to make traditional Irish food. The culinary focus is on developing cooking skills to produce wonderful food using the freshest ingredients and the learning environment is sociable and fun.
