Creative Heartlands-Leitrim Design House

Leitrim, Sligo & Roscommon have always had a large and thriving creative sector. Since 2019 Creative Heartlands has been working in the region with existing practitioners to sustain and grow the design and film sectors in the region. This is being achieved by building on a strong base to invest in equipment and develop training and professional development programmes.

In 2021 Creative Heartlands secured funding under Enterprise Ireland, Regional Enterprise Development Fund for a 3-year project developed by Leitrim, Sligo and Roscommon Arts Offices and Local Enterprise Offices. Under the project we have invested in a range of film and design equipment and have a dedicated Design Project Manager and a Film Project Manager to work with practitioners in the region.

• The film equipment and edit suites are available for hire at very reduced rates for Creative Heartlands members. This includes the full Sony Cinema FX9 camera with all accessories and also a Sony A7Mk3 Full Frame 4K DSLR. Also Sound and Lighting kits to go with these available to rent.
