Crosscare Migrant Project

Crosscare Migrant Project is a Dublin based non-profit organisation, working in the areas of Irish migration and diaspora. As part of our work we:

  • Provide information and advice to Irish people moving abroad, and Irish emigrants returning to Ireland
  • Offer advocacy support with access to social welfare payments, local housing supports, and statutory services
  • Work collaboratively on joint projects to share information with Irish people all over the world to promote a positive migration experience
  • Provide training and capacity building support to Global Irish emigrant organisations, and Irish Consular Services
  • Undertake policy and research initiatives on emerging issues for Ireland's Diaspora
  • Offer immigration related information and advocacy support to immigrants in Ireland.

Our work with intending and returning Irish emigrants is funded by the Emigrant Support Programme of the Department of Foreign Affairs. Our work with immigrants in Ireland is funded by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. We are part of Crosscare, the social care agency of the Dublin Catholic Archdiocese.
