HD McKay Consulting Engineers is a progressing and developing Structural & Civil Engineering Consultancy operating throughout the island of Ireland.

With over 25 years’ experience in engineering and construction projects, we provide professional services to Architects, Local Authorities, Public Bodies, Solicitors and Individuals on a range of Commercial, Industrial and Domestic projects.

We provide Structural Engineering services in a broad range of projects from home extensions, new dwellings, to multi-storey commercial and industrial projects. This includes foundation and super structure design, including retaining structures and specialist foundations.

Our Civil Engineering services include a wide range of infrastructural projects including surface and foul water sewers, sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS), flood risk assessments, water supply schemes, bridges etc.

The company is led by Damien McKay who is passionate about what he does. Damien knows that whether building your new business premises or home that it is not just about the construction process – it’s about planning and managing the project effectively from start to finish.

He has a passion for excellence, a planned approach to building, a calm attitude, and key strengths in problem solving and negotiations, so he accomplishes the best in what he does.
