Declan Gorman

Performer, director and playwright Declan Gorman: formerly Artistic Director of Upstate Theatre in Drogheda; specialising in solo and smaller-scale touring (as performer and also producer of work featuring other performing artists). Under his Declan Gorman Arts & Events banner, also works extensively in public and community arts ; education and international touring. Recent acclaimed work in Ireland and internationally include "The Dubliners Dilemma" (after Joyce: writer/performer); "The Big Fellow" (based on Frank O'Connor's biography of Michael Collins: writer/director); "Dorothy Macardle - Prison Notebooks" wtih Sharon McArdle (Writer/Director); "The Green Belt / Momentum 2023" - public art event in East Fingal 2020-22
