Dun Laoghaire Choral Society

Established over 30 years ago in 1982, Dún Laoghaire Choral Society is an amateur choir of over 80 singers that aims to share with audiences a rich variety of choral music from medieval to classical and contemporary pieces, including newly commissioned works.

DLCS is delighted to participate in the CHORAL FUSION Double-Choir series with the Galway Baroque Singer.

Regular award-winners at several of Ireland's leading choral festivals, the GBS also had the honour of singing at the conferral of Nelson Mandela at NUI Galway in 2003. Recent performances include Mendelssohn's Elijah, Puccini's Messa di Gloria and Mozart's Requiem, in collaboration with Our Lady's Choral Society.
