East Valley Harmonizers Chorus
The East Valley Harmonizers is an all-male chorus based in Mesa, AZ. Formed in 1993, the chorus celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023. The chorus is a member chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Barbershop harmony music is an American art form with a small-town flavor. The unique four-part quartet harmony is sung “a cappella” style, without instrumental accompaniment. The Barbershop Harmony Society is an international, non-profit organization founded in 1938 with over 15,000 members.
In addition to holding an annual Spring and Christmas holiday show, the Harmonizers enjoy performing in the local community, for special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, patriotic events such as Veteran’s Day, and at senior communities and assisted living centers. As if that is not enough singing, the chorus and quartets often compete in Barbershop Society competitions at conventions.
