Evan O’Ceallaigh is a 21 year old chef from Galway, Ireland. At age 18, he began his career in Michelin Star Aniar restaurant in Galway. Evan created “Nua Galway” pop up dinner events to push the boundaries of Irish cuisine along with fellow chef Robert Browne. He held a dinner during the Food on the Edge symposium in 2015 to showcase Irish cooking to the wider international audience, including some of the speakers. In 2016, Evan himself was one of the speakers at Food on the Edge speaking about the future of the cheffing industry.
Last year whilst working in London under the legendary Pierre Koffmann, Evan was named as one of the 'biggest Irish names in London food circles' by hotdinners. com
Evan is currently training in Paris.
