Farronshoneen Youth Centre Project

The Farronshoneen Youth and Community Centre in which the Farronshoneen Youth Centre Project resides, engages young people age 10 to 21 years, living within the Dunmore Road area of Waterford City in positive, worthwhile recreational based activities and informal educational based programmes.
The project works with the young people to identify their own needs and issues and to put appropriate responses in place.
We aim to empower and enable young people through their active consulation to develop their personal and social skills to allow them exercise greater control in their own lives.
Programmes on offer include weekly core developmental groups (divided based on age and interests), social and recreational programmes such as an Irish speaking youth group & art group, occasional special interest groups such as cooking and also seasonal programmes throughout the Easter & Summer holidays.
