Friends of St James, Dingle

We are a voluntary organisation founded in January 2019 whose aims are:

1) to protect and preserve the historic church and churchyard of St James in Dingle

2) to enhance and secure the use of this listed building as a shared spiritual and cultural space and also a community resource for both locals and visitors.

St. James' Church, Dingle is of historical significance through its Spanish patronage in the medieval period and its associations with the pilgrimage routes of St James to Santiago de Compostela.

The restoration project will cost upwards of €600,000 and we very much appreciate all donations. Full details of our project plans and secure donation instructions may be found on our website
