HiFuMiYo and counting… takes its name from an ancient Japanese way of counting — one, two, three, four — a rhythm that speaks of continuity, of life carried forward step by step. Based in London, HiFuMiYo is dedicated to sharing the richness of Japanese traditional craft (KO:GEI). We present not only the makers’ skills, but also the heritage of their techniques and the possibilities they hold for the future.
Our purpose is to act as a bridge — connecting Japanese craftspeople with designers and architects alike, opening new opportunities for their work to flourish beyond Japan.
