Humanitarian Aid Working Group, ActionAid, Oxfam

The Dóchas Humanitarian Working Group is a group of members who have come together to share their resources and expertise to engage with a wide range of key stakeholders to promote dialogue and influence matters relating to humanitarian policy, increase the common understanding of humanitarian principles and practice and to contribute to improvements in humanitarian action. 

ActionAid provide long term support to women and their children in developing countries, so they can overcome the obstacles holding them back. Women's rights are central to ActionAid'd response in times of emergencies. ActionAid's rights-based approach promotes the leadership, engagement and agency of poor and excluded people, particularly women. 

Oxfam is a global movement of people who won’t live with the injustice of poverty. Oxfam help people build better lives for themselves - speaking out on the big issues that keep people poor, like inequality and discrimination against women.
