John Morrissey

John Morrissey is a senior lecturer in the School of Microbiology, UCC. He has a passion for all things yeast related. His research focuses on yeast biotechnology and genetics, but he's just as interested in the history of monastic brewing, the geographical origins of certain yeast species, running marathons, drinking strong coffee, and, of course, Cork.
