Kilteely Dromkeen Parish
Kilteely Dromkeen Parish sits quietly by the hill of Cromhill and stretches out up to 5km north and south (between the N24 and R513). With a growing population of 800, it has two churches (Church of St. Patrick & St. Brigid, Kilteely & Church of St. Bridget, Dromkeen) and two primary schools (Kilteely NS & Cloverfield NS). It also has many vibrant active groups in the Parish, such as Kilteely Dromkeen GAA, Kilteely Tidy Towns, Cill Bhride Housing Association, Kilteely Dromkeen Parish Hall, St Patrick’s Players Cloverfield, Community Games, Ladies Groups, Festival Committee and many others.
For a small community, it does not hold back. Recently, the community came together and formed the KDB Cemetery Group to work together and maintain our three graveyards which is a source of great pride to all.
Young & old continue to represent their community and county in GAA, Fleadh Ceoil, Art, Agriculture, Athletics, Tug-of-War, Young Scientist, Exhibition, Rugby, at home and abroad.
