Leona McDonnell Mindfulness and Wellness
An advocate for being present in and living in the very present moment. From a journey of mental, emotional and physical illness to self help, healing and recovery, I have spent the last number of years practicing mindfulness and subsequently completing my qualifications.
Coupled with journaling, gratitude exercises, practicing yoga, meditation, energy healing, using essential oils and deep thought and reflection, I have reconnected with and healed my core centre, my life force, my tree of life.
With my first hand experience in dealing with illness, post traumatic stress, anxiety, I can share with you some of the techniques that I used to transform my life, to help you to become the best version of yourself, to reconnect with your core centre and to achieve your hopes and dreams.
The centre of my practice is based around 'empowering people' from the inside out, empowering people and helping people to realise that everything that they need for a happy, peaceful, healthy life is already within themselves, they just have to find it and ignite and connect to it.
I run Creative Mindfulness for Children classes throughout the year, bringing new locations this year. I have also started to teach the Mindful Heart Curriculum (designed by Louise Shannagher Childrens Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Psychology Lecturer and by Paul McNamee Psychologist) in our Primary Schools I also run Mindfulness programmes and classes for adults, Mindfulness Meditation workshops and will be expanding my offerings in 2020 to include Mindful Parenting Workshops and Teacher Workshops.
