Mojo

Mojo projects operate in North and South Dublin, Kildare and Offaly. Each project coordinates the Mojo programmes which aim to reduce the high levels of male suicide in Ireland by helping men foster social connections and life-planning skills.
Mojo programmes work with men over several different programme formats: from 4-week Mini Mojos to 12-week comprehensive programmes, both as part of a group and on a one-to-one basis.  Within the programme, men learn to build their mental and physical fitness while developing the ability to engage with local services and the community, set goals and develop a life plan. This interlinked approach is key to the success of Mojo Programmes.
Mojo offers men the space to build, develop and create goals, plans and connections. Through the development of these skills men are empowered to support themselves and their families.
Mojo has seen positive results with an 86%-90% retention rate on the programme and is fast becoming a leader and defender of men’s mental health (our research shows that men who participate in our courses see an 83% reduction in depression and anxiety) and wellbeing in the workplace as results show 70%-76% of participants have progressed on to training and education. Mojo offers the space for men to share, for men to help other men, and for men to develop the skills they need to plan ahead for themselves and their families.
