Janet Meade is the creator of Mother Míach Herbs. Janet is an Irish Herbalist, Reiki Master and a mother to 4 children from Athlone, Co Westmeath. She has been a Herbalist for almost 8 years, she is a Reiki master for 11 years and she has used alternative therapies in her home for almost 22 years. Janet is well known in her community for her herbal medicine clinic where she provides herbal medicine consultations and reiki healing. Her popular herbal medicine formulas, creams, salves, skincare and bodycare products are handcrafted by using organic oils, organic butters, organic and wildcrafted herbs. Her passion for sharing her knowledge of herbal medicine to help others empower themselves shines through in all areas of her work. She is dedicated to helping others see the value of herbs and plants that grow outside their doorsteps and in their surrounding areas and showing people that they do not need to live in the countryside to appreciate or learn about plant and herb wisdom. Being a herbalist has become a way of life which Janet practices daily in her home.
