St Helier Charitable Foundation with Arts Network Sutton
St Helier Charitable Foundation is running a Heritage Lottery Funded WW2 project collecting the memories and photos of those who lived in Carshalton and Wallington during this period. SHCF is a registered charity working in Carshalton and surrounding area to bring information and help to residents.
This event is a collaboration with Arts Network Sutton to honour local people who lived through WW2 and fought for our freedom. James Farrar was a young Carshalton poet who tragically died, age 21, when his plane went down over the Thames Estuary in 1944.
