The B!G Idea
The B!G Idea is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people to tackle real-world challenges through creative education and industry collaboration. Founded in Ireland, we address the gap between traditional education and the skills needed for the future of work and society. Our unique approach combines creative-thinking skills training with hybrid-professional mentoring at scale, making us the only initiative of its kind globally.
Our programmes are inclusive and accessible, providing free mentorship and resources to students regardless of their location, background, or learning style and ability. We have worked with over 450 teachers, 1,000+ industry mentors, and have reached 10,000 students across 23 counties.. By offering immersive online workshops, we equip students with critical skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and resilience, preparing them to be the problem-solvers of tomorrow.
We’ve expanded our impact to two countries and partnered on an EU on a project focused on educational innovation. Recognised by the OECD and included in HundrED.org’s top 100 most impactful initiatives globally, we are committed to transforming education and inspiring a new generation of change-makers. Our mission is to empower all young people to solve local and global challenges through innovative education and industry collaboration.
