UCD SDGs Seminar Series 2019
The university-wide UN Sustainable Development Goals Research Seminar Series highlights how groundbreaking work led by UCD researchers is contributing to SDG targets in Ireland and further afield.
Running fortnightly over the course of 2019, the programme features a panel of leading researchers discussing their current work in relation to each Goal in turn, followed by an opportunity for the audience to join the discussion and contribute their perspective. Our aim is that this series is representative of the breadth and wealth of research being carried out across the University and by partner organisations. Led by Prof. Tasman Crowe and his team in the UCD Earth Institute, the seminars promise to be a fascinating series.
The UCD SDGs Research Seminar Series runs simultaneously with the University Management Team’s SDGs Project that aims to map existing UCD actions and activities against the 17 UN SDGs, through the lens of Education, Research, Governance and Engagement activity.
Further information about the Seminar Series is available here. If you’d like to find out more about the Series or contribute to a future seminar, please contact William.Fitzmaurice@ucd.ie (UCD Earth Institute).
