Yale Ventures

Founded in 2022, Yale Ventures is an ambitious new initiative to support and expand innovation and entrepreneurship across the university and throughout the greater New Haven region. Supported by new investments from the university, Yale Ventures supports the translation of university research into impactful products, services, and social ventures to accelerate the expansion of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

We do this by:

• Growing the Yale and New Haven entrepreneurship ecosystem that attracts and retains talent and drives inclusive growth
• Providing streamlined access of Yale-developed intellectual property to new startups and corporate partners
• Training and support faculty, student, staff and community innovators to help them develop their ideas and research, access mentorship, attract investment, and build new ventures
• Establishing and enhancing private sector partnerships that provide resources and collaborations that accelerate and expand Yale research and scholarship
