Create early bird ticket types

Create early bird tickets that make your attendees want to buy now. To get started, go to Tickets and create a new ticket type. Update the sales end date so it stops being on sale before your event.

1. Go to your event dashboard.

Log in to your Eventbrite account and go to Events. Then select your event.

2. Go to "Tickets."

2. Create a new ticket type or update an existing ticket type.

Select Add more tickets to create a new ticket. Select an existing ticket type to update its settings.

3. Add the ticket name and price.

Early bird tickets are generally cheaper than standard admission tickets.

4. Update the sales dates.

Change the Sales end date to the last day you want tickets to be on sale.

5. Save your settings.

6. Optional: Create tickets that automatically go on sale at a later date.

Create tickets that automatically go on sale when your early bird tickets aren’t available. When you create another ticket type:

  1. Under When are tickets available, select When sales end for…

  2. Choose your early bird ticket type.

  3. Save your changes.

This option isn't available for recurring events.
