Set up attendee self-service transfers

When you use Eventbrite Payment Processing for paid-and-public events, you can allow attendees to transfer to a different ticket type or event. To get started, go to your event dashboard and select "Registration Transfers" (under Order Options).

NOTE: Self-service transfers are not available for eblink{reserved seating=>https://www.eventbrite.ie/support/articleredirect?anum=30532} events. Instead, you can eblink{manually transfer attendees to other seats=>https://www.eventbrite.ie/support/articleredirect?anum=3479}.

<h2 id="01">1. Go to your Event Dashboard.</h2> <p>Event creators can log into their Eventbrite account eblink{here=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.ie/myevents target=_blank}. Then select your event.</p> <h2 id="02">2. Click &quot;Registration Transfers&quot; (under Order Options).</h2> <h2 id="03">3. Allow attendees to transfer to another type of ticket or event.</h2> <p>Check the box next to the options you want to enable:</p> <ul><li><b>Registration Transfer:</b> attendees can change their ticket type for the event they&#39;re registered for. </li><li><b>Event Transfer:</b> attendees can change which event they’re attending.</li></ul> <h2 id="04">4. Set up your transfer policy.</h2> <p>Your transfer policy is a good place to include any details like the transfer deadline and whether you’ll refund the difference for transfers to lower-priced tickets.</p> <h2 id="05">5. Customise transfer settings by ticket type.</h2> <p>Under &quot;Transfer Settings,&quot; you can customise transfer capabilities and costs by ticket type.</p> <ul><li>Allow transfers to or from specific ticket types — Bidirectional means attendees can transfer both to and from this ticket type. Allow To means attendees can transfer to this ticket type, but not from it. Allow From means attendees can transfer from this ticket type but not to it.</li><li>Set up a custom transfer fee per ticket — Choose to charge a different transfer fee in place of the fee(s) set at the top of your Registration Transfers page. If set to &quot;No Change&quot; the &quot;Fees&quot; transfer setting is ignored.</li><li>Override the difference in cost for tickets — Choose to charge or ignore differences in the cost of tickets when attendees perform ticket or event transfers. If set to &quot;No Change&quot; the &#39;Cost difference&quot; transfer setting is ignored.
