Description

Join us for a seminar on “Adopting a Multi-Layered Approach to Ransomware Defence” on 13 September 2016 at the Conrad Hotel, Dublin 2.

In this seminar, Information Security experts Espion along with our partner Zscaler will provide practical advice on how organizations should be developing and executing a multi-layered defensive strategy to protect their business against the rising threat of Ransomware.

A Ransomware infection can be devastating to an organization and recovery can be a difficult, extensive process without expert advice. An overwhelming amount of businesses have fallen victim in recent months, facing loss of sensitive information, disruption to regular operations, financial losses as well as often irreversible reputational damage.

This seminar will advise organizations on taking a multi-layered approach to their defensive strategy; from raising security awareness across their organization to leveraging the cloud to apply extensive overarching system defenses – a one stop shop solution is not sufficient.

Seminar Overview

  • The Evolution of Ransomware – how it has evolved, the current threat landscape and why organizations need to act now

  • How Organizations fall victim – the most common infection methods examined

  • What a Ransomware attack looks like - including real life examples

  • Ten steps to take immediately following a suspected incident

  • A Multi Layered Approach - how to prevent incidents through a multi-layered defence

  • The People Factor - implementing security awareness across your entire organization

The session will be followed by a Panel Q&A.
