<p>Echoes of Baggotonia is a unique opportunity to catch a glimpse into the 1960s and early 70s atmosphere around this famous area of Dublin. Living through the legacy of literature and investigating this exciting time of new beginnings, this event explores the shift in cultural expression as it transitioned from the influence of past literary giants to the influx of new ideas and cultures, during the most tramsformative time of our history. This event will delve into the rich tapestry of a community adapting to change, reflecting on who came and what they left and how social and cultural movements emerged. Seen through the lens of a child of the 1960s and 70s living in the area, this live event will take you back in time. Rachel Fehily is currently engaged in creative based doctoral studies and this era and location form part of her research at the School of English Drama Film at University College Dublin.</p>
