We have stunning shows in comfortable and cool surroundings where public guests will be informed and entertained through engaging and thought-provoking shows, discussions and demonstrations. This year's list of events happening in Dublin during Science Week.

For over 85 years the Irish Astronomical Society has been promoting an interest in the wonders of the night sky and the science of astronomy. We are delighted to welcome you to this sponsored event so you grab a hot chocolate, wander up and experience what our universe has to offer. Talks and an experiment tent will accompany the star-gazing with free and easy parking on site.Sponsored by Research Ireland, this event is being graciously facilitated by the IAS and the OPW in partnership with C'mere.All attendees do so at their own risk and should be aware that this is a night-time event in a park. We will provide volunteers with torches to aid participants however all attendees do so at their own risk.* * NOTE By attending this event you agree and consent to being in photos taken by a C'mere designated photographer. If you do not wish to be included in photos, there is no problem but please do let us know. Thanks!
