Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown arts programme is organised by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office. The aim of dlr's Municipal Gallery Programme is to provide opportunities for all people of all ages to engage with the arts as creators, spectators and participants.

Join culture reporter Michael Lanigan and exhibiting artists <a href="" title="" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Róisín White</a> and Mary Burke, for a casual conversation at the gallery about concepts of home and the artists’ work leading up to their exhibitions, Safe Harbour and Moments of Domesticity, currently showing at dlr Lexicon Gallery. About Michael Lanigan<a href="" title="" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Michael Lanigan</a> is Dublin-based journalist covering cultural issues in locations around the world. He is the arts and culture reporter for Dublin Inquirer. Lanigan is also a contributor to Vice, Totally Dublin, Tokyo Weekender, The Guardian and the Business Post. About the artistsMary Burke graduated with an honours BA in Fine Art from NCAD in 1982. She has had seventeen solo exhibitions and has been awarded residencies at the Leighton Artist Colony at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada and a United States Information Agency fellowship to work at the Vermont Studio Center, USA. Awards include a bursary from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation (Montreal), and a Golden Fleece award from the Lillias Mitchell Trust and Visual Arts Bursaries from the Irish Arts Council (2007, 2009, 2020). Her work is included in many public and corporate collections including The Arts Council, The AIB International Financial Services Centre, Limerick City Gallery of Art, Dublin Airport Authority, Aer Motive Ireland, South Dublin County Council, Fingal County Council and the Office of Public Works. Róisín White is a visual artist and arts facilitator based in Dublin. She primarily works with photography, and mixed media sculpture. Róisín holds a BA (Hons) in Photography from DIT, and certificates in Ceramics, Sculpture and Drawing from NCAD. She is currently an artist in residence in Dún Laoghaire Baths Artist Studios.Her work often stems from found and archival materials, with an interest in storytelling, both historical and fictional. White has exhibited her work in Ireland and across Europe. Her work is included in the OPW Collection, the Arts Council Collection, as well as private collections. Her work in Ireland has kindly been supported by The Arts Council, the Dublin City Arts Office, and the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. She is currently the artist in residence at The Baths Studios in Dún Laoghaire from 2023 – 2025.
