Enjoy an evening of laughter on College Green. We'll be opening doors at 7:00PM, in the upstairs lounge of Doyles Pub, D2, College Green, just across from Trinity College Dublin.Kevin Gildea, one of Ireland's best comedians (Fr Ted, headlines with support from a host of other great acts - its our Thanksgiving Special so we have some of Irelands best American comedians!!!! You will be led through the event by your host Kevin O'Donohoe!!See you at Doyle's pub, D2.Doors at 7PM, show starts at 7:30PMKevin GildeaKevin Gildea is a comedian, writer, award winning playwright, interviewer, sometime TV presence, Irish Times book reviewer and potential novelist. As a TV art’s reporter he has interviewed – amongst others – Terry Gilliam, Will Self, Eddie Izzard, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. As a playwright he has won RTE Radio’s PJ O’Connor awards – 1st, 2nd and 3rd (at different times). He has performed his stand-up all over the world – from Rome to Shanghai, from Finland to Cavan. Kevin was a writer/performer on RTÉ’s sadly missed satirical sketch show Irish Pictorial Weekly.His comedy has been described as“Creative, Original, Pioneering” by The Guardian,“Comedy on a different level” by The Irish Times and “Highly Original, Explosively Funny” by The Sunday Times
