<h3>Let’s Talk Partnerships: Moving Beyond Sponsorship</h3> Join us at BASE for an open discussion exploring partnerships and brand collaborations that transcend traditional sponsorships. In today's world, the values and needs of our communities should align with any support we receive. These are real people—often overlooked by brands that claim to care. In fact, these brands need us more than we need them; they seek access to authentic connections, they want to be seen as locally involved. If that’s the case, we must be more critical of their engagement. Together, we can discover ways to ensure that corporate partnerships truly meet our community's needs. This event is designed for grassroots brands, platforms, and collectives, particularly those centered on BIPOC and marginalized communities. Hosted by Azeez Saeed "I don’t have all the answers, but I believe in the power of conversation. Let’s ask questions and brainstorm strategies for engaging with corporate brands in ways that prioritize our community values over mere sponsorship."
