Join us online to celebrate Heritage Week 2020, on the theme of ‘Heritage and Education: Learning from our Heritage’.Museum guide Helena Gouveia Monteiro will deliver an online talk focusing on the practice of Eileen Gray, an artist, furniture designer, self – taught architect and pioneer of Modern design. As a self-taught architect, Gray’s practice demonstrates her continued dedication to lifelong learning. Gray actively continued to acquire new skills and knowledge throughout her life, in both a formal and an informal context. The online talk will illustrate her professional development from art student in London and Paris to a mature, innovative architect.The talk will be followed by a Q&amp;A session, some conversation and sharing of information!
