In 1998, Debbie Deegan, on a visit to Russia, was so shocked at the level of abandoned children and the conditions those lucky enough to find an orphanage were living in, that it spurred her onto a decision that would change not only her lives, but the lives of thousands of children forever. Join Debbie as she talks about her life, experiences and charity - To Russia with Love (now renamed To Children with Love) - which helps children, at home and abroad, to achieve their full potential in education, employment and life. Debbie will be in conversation with Darragh Doyle, Head of Communications at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and custodian of the popular Twitter account, @ireland.
