Finding a Voiceis a festival of unforgettable music by remarkable women. Located in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary,Finding a Voicepresents concerts of music spanning eras and genres,  in celebration of International Women’s Day, 8th March.AboutFounded in 2017 by sisters Róisín and Cliona Maher, over the past eight years Finding a Voice has featured music by hundreds of women composers, from Hildegard of Bingen to newly commissioned works, and performances from leading Irish and international musicians. Finding a Voice is a four-day concert series of music by women composers through the ages to celebrate International Women’s Day. 

A Woman of Genius: The Life and Music of Pauline Garcia ViardotCelebrating the 200th anniversary of Pauline Garcia Viardot (1821-1910), one of the greatest divas of the nineteenth century, soprano Kelley Lonergan and pianist Gabriela Mayer present a recital of works by Garcia Viardot alongside readings from her letters and diaries by actor Aideen Wylde.Pauline Garcia Viardot Lamento, Hai luli, Fleurs desechees, Evocation, Chant du soir, Les filles de Cadix, Madrid, Cancion de la Infanta, and moreFinding a VoiceFor the fourth edition of Finding a Voice in 2021, the concert series will again focus on the music of women composers through the ages, building and expanding on the first three highly successful series since 2018. The theme for 2021 is #ItsAboutTime and several concerts will focus on the notion of “time” in all its different iterations, from Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel’s epic piano piece Das Jahr [The Year], to percussionist Alex Petcu’s exploration of time in relation to rhythm, tempo and duration.
