<h2>FAMILY CONCERT (Children aged 1 - 4 years)</h2> These special family concerts blend the magic of storytelling with the brilliance of chamber music, creating an engaging and immersive experience for young families. Narrated by Jenna Raggett and performed by a string quartet of IBO musicians, the programme follows a dynamic narrative structure, where music and story intertwine to bring an exciting tale to life. Premiering in the surroundings of Dublin Castle, this concert marks a new addition to the Irish Baroque Orchestra’s much-loved Cushion Concerts series. It invites audiences to sit back, listen, and take part in the story through singing, dancing, and movement. With the help of simple props and playful interaction, young listeners will be drawn into an enchanting world of music, discovery and play. The story, written by Jenna, will guide us through a journey full of wonder and discovery, with the musicians playing a key role in bringing each moment to life. This family friendly performance offers a unique opportunity for families to experience the joy of live music in a relaxed and welcoming setting. This event is offered for free, to ensure equality of access. Anyone wishing to make a donation of €5 per family will be playing a valuable part in helping us to keep these activities free for all in the future. Approximate running time: 45 minutes
