Digital media educator Ricardo Castellini da Silva presents this exciting series of webinars designed to help us counter the dangers of fake news and disinformation. You may attend 1 week or as many as you like, tickets are booked separately for each session.Week 1: Disinformation and Covid 19. There has been a lot of disinformation in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, from misunderstanding about best practices to avoid contamination, to conspiracy theories involving politicians, health organizations and tech companies. In this session, Ricardo will discuss some of these issues, followed by a Q+A.Each week Ricardo will tackle a different topic of concern and offer context, tips and practical advice.These talks will be delivered online via Zoom.-----Please note------1 ticket per deviceTickets for each week booked separately.For events, priority will be given to people living in the South Dublin area. This may result in the cancellation of your ticket, we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
