Remembering the Armada 18-21 September 2025Aims: The protection and conservation of the Armada Wreck site at Streedagh;The development of an Armada Interpretive Centre at the Courthouse in Grange;An annual series of events commemorating the Armada story.

Killybegs including guided tour of Spanish Naval Vessel OPV Carnota followed by tour of Slieve League by sea and lunch.

Killybegs Harbour

Join us at Killybegs for the official opening of Remembering the Armada. Meet at St. Catherine's Park in Killybegs (beside the harbour), followed by official welcome of Spanish Naval Vessel OPV Carnota and Crew. A guided tour of the ship followed by a tour by sea to the famed Slieve League cliffs (lunch included in price).Meeting point:Meet at St. Catherine's Park, Killybegs at 12:00 midday for registration. We aim to return to port by 4:45pm.Note that this event is wheelchair accessible.
