The Crow Goddess, The Morrigan, Birth, Death & Rebirth Burlá Ghuí

We come together in a circle, as a non hierarchy of like hearted women. We call in the 7 Directions to create a safe and sacred space that is deeply nurturing and spiritual for us to come together. We have two opportunities to release and let go - at our cleanse and fire or water ceremony. During Talking Full Woman, we discuss our Full Moon theme and the archetypal energy of the Goddess that we are honouring. Next follows the ceremony, rite/blessing or creative practice. Finally we share our 'soul moment', uncast our circle and close the directions. All in all a wonderful opportunity to tune into the energy of the Moon as we discuss relevant women's topics.

We will make a Burlá Ghuí  (prayer bundle) under the guidance of The Morrigan to celebrate the triple cycle of life - Birth, Death & Rebirth

My next Full Moon Circle theme is on Sunday 28th March 2021@ 7.30pm. The theme is The Goddess Morrigan, known also as the Crow Goddess, who represents and celebrates the triple cycle of Life - Birth, Death &amp; Rebirth.Its a great theme to celebrate around the Spring Equinox on March 21st or at Easter. The next Full Moon falls between these two dates so is ideal for us to celebrate at our next gathering. The Spring Equinox, one of the quarter days on the Celtic Wheel Calendar is a Pagan festival, which celebrates the transition into longer days and shorter nights. The time after the Spring Equinox was regarded by our Ancestors as the &#x27;Quickening&#x27;. In pregnancy, this is when the mother feels the baby kicking for the first time, the fetus letting the mother know they are there and it marks the start of the growth period in the second trimester. Easter, a Christian Celebration, is celebrated on the first Sunday after the Full Moon nearest to the Spring Equinox. The word Easter, is analogous to Eostre, the teutonic Goddess of Spring and Fertility, Oestrogen, the female hormone associated with fertility, and the word Equinox. This time is synonymous with Birth - eggs, easter eggs, chicks/bunnies and spring lambs; with Death - as we Spring Clean the winter detritus in our homes and gardens externally and internally in ourselves, the Crucifixion/Passover and the Rebirth - as the sap rises we feel that new energy rise in us, and the Resurrection. This theme of Birth, Death and Rebirth is about the triple aspect of the life cycle since time began. Birth - what are we birthing or creating, Death - what are we releasing, letting go and Rebirth - connecting into our Celtic Soul and consciously rebirthing.

This is a great time to reflect on how we are with Birth, Death &amp; Rebirth and how they sit with us individually. Every day, week, month and year, we experience the life phases passing us by. The cycles of nature and life keep happening and passing by us, but are we honouring them consciously?This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on Birth, Death &amp; Rebirth in ourselves and in our loved ones who have passed away. Are we afraid of Death, are we afraid of Life? Every day holds instances of lost and missed opportunities and chances, time gone, none of them to be reclaimed, the birth of new ideas, opportunities and the passing of life phases and time, what we may not consciously experience and honour. The Morrigan&#x27;s energy is subtle but can be very powerful. How do you personally view death? If you are afraid, you will view death with dread and trepidation. If you are unafraid of death, you will live life to the full and acknowledge and relish rebirth. Under the guidance of the Morrigan, we will make a Burlá Ghuí, a Gaelic term for a prayer bundle, for Birth, Death &amp; Rebirth. These prayer bundles date back to old traditions, where items representing nature, were offered as prayer items.
